πρόσκληση για το 21o EuroΧR International Conference που θα πραγματοποιηθεί φέτος στην χώρα μας στις 27-29 Νοεμβρίου και διοργανώνεται από τον Ευρωπαϊκό Οργανισμό ΕuroXR και το I-SENSE Group του Ερευνητικού Πανεπιστημιακού Ινστιτούτου Συστημάτων Επικοινωνίας και Υπολογιστών (ΕΠΙΣΕΥ) του ΕΜΠ.
Κάθε χρόνο, το Συνέδριο αποτελεί μια από τις κορυφαίες παγκόσμιες συναντήσεις για την ανταλλαγή ερευνητικών ευρημάτων στους τομείς της εικονικής, επαυξημένης και μικτής πραγματικότητας (VR/AR/MR). Η φετινή εκδοχή του έχει ελληνικό χρώμα και με τον τίτλο 'Expanding Reality, Exploring Horizons' θα περιλάβει ένα πλούσιο τεχνικό πρόγραμμα με περισσότερες από 30 συνεδρίες σχετικά με τις τελευταίες ερευνητικές και ακαδημαϊκές εξελίξεις στον τομέα, σειρά από keynote ομιλίες προσωπικοτήτων διεθνούς φήμης που έχουν αφήσει το στίγμα τους στην εξέλιξη των ΑR/VR τεχνολογιών (όπως ο Jeremy Dalton, η Monica Arés και οι καθηγητές Benjamin Lok και Armin Grasnick), δορυφορικές εκδηλώσεις αλλά και μια Έκθεση τεχνολογικών καινοτομιών με επιδείξεις εφαρμογών που έχουν προκύψει από ερευνητικές εργασίες και υλοποιήσεις XR στον κόσμο των επιχειρήσεων.
Καθώς το φετινό συνέδριο αποτελεί μια μοναδική ευκαιρία για εγχώριους φορείς και επιχειρήσεις να δικτυωθούν στη διεθνή σκηνή, να συζητήσουν και να μοιραστούν τις τελευταίες καινοτομίες γύρω από τις εμπορικές και ερευνητικές εφαρμογές του κλάδου, αλλά και για τους Έλληνες φοιτητές που ενδιαφέρονται και δραστηριοποιούνται στο χώρο.
