Kyknos team having an extended presence in production of food, is looking forward to recruit a Deputy Production Manager, to support the Production team in the plant. 

The position is located in SAVALIA region, 72klm of National road Patras – Pirgos, Prefecture of Ilia. The position is full time with indefinite duration, reporting to Production Manager

In collaboration with Production manager, the position manages all aspects of production activity, ensuring that desired quantities and quality of products are produced on schedule in a safe manner. Main tasks of the position are listed below: 

Planning and Implementation of Production Strategy, under the supervision of Production Manager

• Development of action plans, to ensure that company objectives are achieved

• Monitoring of action plans and confrontation of possible issues during production

Management of Production activities: 

• Close collaboration with Production manager, ensuring the production activity

• Monitoring the performance of machines and other tools, proposing improvements and/or changes, to the Technical team

• Monitoring of Overall Equipment Effectiveness and proposing corrective actions

• Monitoring energy levels of performance

• Supervising environmental projects

• Supervising Warehousing performance and actions, ensuring the right levels of stock

• Managing KPIs of organic cleaning, according to environmental guidelines

Procurement and Warehousing of materials, important for the production process

• Ensuring that selected partners follow the guidelines agreed

• Supporting and supervising the warehousing process, ensuring high quality standards

• Monitoring stocks levels and ordering process, ensuring the appropriate levels of materials, in collaboration with Production Manager, Supply Planner and Procurement department

Quality Control Collaboration with the team of Quality control: 

• Ensuring high quality of products, according to the company standards

• Monitoring of the quality of raw materials and final product, through samples and lab testing

Collaboration with other departments: 

• Commercial department: coordination of production activities

• Research and Development: being member of the team for new launches, innovation

• Technical department of the plant: coordination of all needed activities for the excellent performance of the plant

• Quality assurance: participation to the team responsible for the plant certifications

• Finance: monitoring and analyzing KPIs’

• Human Resources: empowerment of personnel

Knowledge and Technical skills

• University / Master degree based on Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other relevant field

• Master degree is a plus

• Proven experience to Production field (up to 5 years)

• Experience to FMCG and ideally to Food industry is a plus

• Excellent knowledge of the English language

• MSoffice knowledge

• Evocon knowledge is a plus
