We would greatly appreciate your support in spreading the word about this competition through your respective student societies, communication channels, newsletters, events, or any other platforms you feel is appropriate.

The competition is aimed at students and recently ICAEW qualified members. We are asking entrants to submit a 5,000-word essay, video, podcast, or other media format, answering:

'Accountants as Climate Champions: why and how should the profession lead on climate action.'

The winning entry will receive £5,000 funded by the Chartered Accountants' Permanent Education Trust. Trustees are hoping this competition will motivate the future leaders of the profession to consider how chartered accountants can act on the climate crisis.
